Welcome to our "Magic Mania" and "Movie Mania" charity fundraiser events. Their purpose is twofold:
To provide a unique day for special needs children from around Sydney and regional NSW who, through no fault of their own, have limited opportunities to enjoy such outings.
To provide funding for operations and equipment for NRMA Careflight.
We are asking for your support of these worthy projects by sponsoring a group of special needs children. The children attending come from a range of organisations, including children who are physically and mentally disabled, those suffering terminal or chronic illnesses, and the socio-economically disadvantaged.
Over the last six years, thousands of special needs children and carers have enjoyed an awesome outing. The Magic and Movie Mania Events have been held at the State Sports Centre at the Olympic Site (with the Olympic Year at Hordern Pavilion), some 50,000 children, mums, dads, carers, family and siblings of these needy youngsters have been able to attend. Given their popularity, we expect the demand for tickets to forthcoming events to significantly increase.
